This piece was my interpretation of the aggressive, British colonisation of Africa. The smaller industrial fuelled lion attacking a much larger, but more vulnerable, elephant like mass of land and natural resources.

A Level Film, Final project 2011

I made this film for my Alevel film final project, along with Tom Chester who produced the Music and audio for the film and also Chris Seery who edited the clips and also co directed the film with me.  We only had three weeks to write the script which could only be a maximum of 8 minutes long, we then had to shoot and edit the film as well as contine with three other coursework dealines for other subjects so due to the limited amount of time i apologise for the silght continuity and audio errors. Although this was my first attempt at filming and due to extremely limited resources, including a budget of £0.00 and a cast which were a little unpredictable due to no payment. I feel the film was an overall success dispite the numerous errors i would have liked to changed, edited and re-shot so i thank all cast and crew for making the film happen.

I based the film on a fictional i created called Alex Anderson (Charlie Wood) a nerdy, teenaged social recluse with an obsession for comic books and a girl in his college, Cindy Granger (Kelly Anderson) whom he deems himself inferior to due to his apperence and social status promoted by Film, Televison and most media business', common in most young social circles. Alex the develops a superpowered hearing after an eary presence visits him in the night which enables him to hear peoples thoughs. The film them follows alex over the period of a week and how he slowly begins to change his appearence to conform to this social ranking aquire a higher status in order to have a chance with Cindy.

I deliberately gave the characters names and apperences to resemble that of typical TV shows and Films about highschool's. Trying to create a sense of deja vu and corny/cheesiness.
